I have opted for an Old Fashioned Ordering Form rather than using a third party online checkout cart service for a variety of security reasons. This order form pdf can be filled out easily once it has been downloaded, then saved by the customer for the customer's records, and finally emailed directly to me as an attachment. This provides the customer with an opportunity to include a brief message within the body of the email if needed, allows me to properly notify the customer when I have processed their order once the payment for the total has come through to me in full, and keeps all communication regarding these transactions in an easily referenced documented format for both the customer and me. By handling my business in this simple way, I reduce a great deal of AI interference, eliminate fake and accidental orders, and generally minimize a variety of online risks. Sometimes taking a step back into a simpler method can pave the way for smoother strides forward.
